Present activity of textile testing laboratory is focused on testing of short-staple raw materials, semi-products and finished products.
It can measure impurity content of fibrous raw material and semi-products by means of a separation method. It is possible to analyze even very small samples and to view individual separated impurity particles (hard impurities, dust, short fibres).
It can measure mass irregularity of semi-products and yarns (different staple length) for the purpose of determination of "IPI" defects - i.e. thin, thick places and neps - with various possible sensitivity adjustments. It is also possible to measure yarn hairiness. Spectrograms and length variations curves can be received as output results.
